I’m in mass media, and the current unit is advertising. Advertisers must work 10 times harder to catch the consumers attention because of what Robert Adler invented years ago: the remote control. While I agree that they must work hard to catch the A.D.D. minds of today, I also strongly think that people need to get off their arse. I’m not saying I don’t watch t.v., I think it’s a great way to relax, but don’t blame your depression on society. Just get up! Do something! Use that tool that the great Adler invented, and use the OFF button. I’m sure the advertisers will come up with another way to target you, like on a bathroom stall door, but people should control the effectivness of media. Not the other way around.
