Day 28

I am at a meeting at the District Office. Here’s today’s agenda:

  1. All of the conferences for today have been moved to Monday.
  2. Read and respond to your J1 writer on Google Docs today. You were their best source of feedback last time.
  3. Blog post #6 is due today. Check out Ben’s blog to join n important discussion and keep commenting on your classmates’ blogs.
  4. Be sure the Hoofprint.net spreadsheet is updated. I’m doing grades this weekend.
  5. Continue making progress on your big story. The rough drafts are due on Wednesday.

Today is the very last day to work on fourth deadline.

Due at the end of the block today: 

  1. Share your draft on Google Docs with mccallum@bhs.cc, your J2 Peer Coach and your Editors.
  2. Post your story on the message board in Homework Help.

Homework for Monday:

Leave feedback for three of your classmates’ stories on the message board.

We had the block to work on Rough Drafts.

As the rest of the class worked on their big story, some of you conferenced with me about your interviews and observations.

Today is the day to either catch up on homework you missed doing because of Worknight or to tie up loose ends on this deadline.

Day 26

Your FIVE interviews are due today at the start of the block.

Everybody except Alex E conferenced with me, so I’ll get to him tomorrow.

You  had the rest of the hour to type your drafts.

It’s Worknight tonight.

There’s one small change in procedure tonight. In order to check out, you need to have me and the EICs sit with you and go through your spread.

Everything has to be done by 9:00 p.m.
