Phoenix Learning Center
Monday - Thurday 8:30a.m.-3:00p.m.
Friday - 8:30a.m.- 12:30 The Phoenix Learning Center is a multi-age satellite program from Buffalo High School where students are not divided by age or grade in any way. This school is designed to earn credits torwards graduations, academic, and independent living skills for life after high school, and the students recieve a Buffalo High School Diploma. Staff and StudentsIn the Phoenix Learning Center their are only 35 students that attend this school making it so the class sizes are 10-15 students per teacher. Their are 5 staff members that work in this building, and also a Mental Health Practitioner, Work Experience Coordinator, and a Chemical Dependency Counselor that attend this school. Entering Pheonix
ActivitiesSome of the activities that you can also participate in are yoga. This is held in the morning before school starts at 7:30-8:30. It is totally optional for students to attend this session. Students who usually ride the bus well attend these sessions. On Mondays during school the students go to the Gold's Gym, High School on Tuesdays, and every Wednesday they go bowling just for recreation. Phoenix Learning Center 800 8th ST NE Buffalo, MN 55313
